Budugu is run by Priyank Chevendra personally, so your complaint is read by the person who can act on it.

• A photo or comment that's abusive, hateful, sexual, violent, unlawful, or uses something you own without permission
• Someone pretending to be you, or a photo of you or your home posted without consent
• A listing that's wrong in a way that could put dogs or people at risk (for everyday fixes, see Corrections and removals)
• Your personal data: seeing, correcting or erasing what Budugu holds about you, or how it has been handled (see the Privacy Policy)
• A decision Budugu made about your account or your posts under the Community guidelines

For a photo or comment, the quickest way is its Report option on Budugu — on the website or in the app. It's hidden for you straight away and comes to the Grievance Officer.

For anything else, or if you'd rather write, email privacy@budugu.in with:

• the link to the place, photo or comment (or a screenshot)
• what's wrong, and what you'd like done about it
• your name and how to reach you
• if it's about someone else's post, how it concerns you

• Your complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours.
• It's resolved within 15 days, and you'll be told what was decided and why.
• A photo showing someone's private areas or sexual content, or one that impersonates someone (including edited or fake images), is removed within 24 hours of the complaint.

Budugu may ask for a little more information to act on a complaint, or to check that a data request really comes from you.

If you disagree with the Grievance Officer's decision about content, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India, within 30 days, at gac.gov.in. For complaints about your personal data, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India once you've raised it here.

Orders from courts and requests from government agencies can be sent to privacy@budugu.in with “Legal request” in the subject. They're handled as the law requires.
